The best Salvadoran pupusas are in Rivas, Nicaragua! Fun, friendly environment for friends, family or dates. Great happy casual vibe. Pupusas are apx 0.65 - 0.95 each, super value for great taste. Lots of big stacks going out the door. Order at the counter or take a seat and flag a person down. Helpful family owned, Spanish only spoken, but menu in both Spanish and English. Top!

This is my place to go out for food in Rivas! Not just because is super cheap also because the pupusas are super tasty.Honestly they are really good! I can say without a doubt that these one’s are even better that the ones Ive had in El Salvador! There’s been just few times that I felt they needed more flavor… sometimes they are incredible sometimes not so much but all you need to do is put salt . Hope they could always keep their quality. BUT HEY THIS IS NOT MCDONALDS AND ALSO YOU ARE NOT PAYING 100 meal sooooo understand this can happen DAHHH… do you know how many pupusas they make per day???Range is from 0.7 usd to 1 so with 4-5 you can have a beer and 2-3 pupusas…. My favorites are mixta(beans cheese chicharrón) just cheese and cheese and onions. They all come with a cabbage salad, make sure you put the salad on top of the pupusa and add the red chili sauce… that’s how you do it! All the flavors combine in every bite. The owner is a salvadorian women who’s based in rivas for a very long time…. She is super friendly:)When you get there you have to order and pay directly at the cashier, you will get a number and they will bring the food to your table.Usually waiting time is about 15 min but will depend on how much crowd is at the restaurant.If weekends etc…. The don’t open on Monday or Tuesday can’t remember. Working hours 5pm to 9-10pm…REMEMBER IS ONE OF THE LOCALs FAVORITEs

Very good Jamaica tea and food. Great atmosphere and reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.
